EUROROOS WRAP: Mark Schwarzer's Fulham future remains unclear after the Socceroos custodian was left out of the Cottagers side as they drew 0-0 at Bolton overnight.
The Australian shot-stopper, who has reportedly handed in a transfer request to new Fulham boss Mark Hughes, wasn't even amongst the Cottagers' substitutes on the opening day of the new Premiership season.
After the game, though, Hughes claimed Schwarzer didn't feature after failing a fitness test.
Elsewhere, Tim Cahill returned from injury after missing the Socceroos midweek match in Slovenia, as Everton lost 1-0 at Blackburn.
Cahill struggled to find rhythm in midfield, while for Rovers, Brett Emerton was an unused substitute and Vince Grella wasn't in the squad.
