AUSSIES ABROAD: Socceroo Mark Schwarzer had a game to forget as he made an awful gaffe in Fulham's 5-2 loss to Liverpool in England's Premier League on Monday.
Schwarzer's Cottagers found themselves 3-0 down after 16 minutes of the clash, with Liverpool's third goal coming as a result of the Australian's uncharacteristic error.
Maxi Rodriguez opened the scoring in the first minute after Carlos Salcido and Schwarzer made a hash of Luis Suarez's cross, presenting the Argentine with the chance to score.
The in-form Argentine doubled the Reds advantage in the seventh minute, before Dirk Kuyt made it 3-0 when his soft shot squirmed past Schwarzer at his near post when he should have easily saved.
Moussa Dembele pulled one back for Fulham in the second-half, before Maxi and Suarez powered in efforts to make it 5-1 before Steven Sidwell grabbed a late consolation goal.
In Turkey's Super Lig, Harry Kewell and Lucas Neill did not play as Galatasaray defeated Kasimpasa 3-1.

In Sweden's Allsvenskan, Australian gloveman Ante Covic put in a full shift as IF Elfsborg defeated Norrkoping 2-1.
