Luiz Felipe Scolari enjoyed the perfect start to his Chelsea reign and believes the manner of victory over Portsmouth would have pleased owner Roman Abramovich.

Brazilian Scolari promised a samba style at Stamford Bridge and his players did not disappoint, with Joe Cole, Nicolas Anelka, Frank Lampard and Deco on target in the 4-0 win.
With Abramovich thought to be wanting an attractive Chelsea side, Scolari's debut could not have gone better.
"I think the owner is happy, like the other fans," Scolari said. "He's one more fan for Chelsea.
"Portsmouth, after five or 10 minutes didn't think we'd play like we were and we were more aggressive than last season. I think they were surprised by our team."
Scolari mirrored his tactics while coach of Brazil by using his full-backs to provide width, with Ashley Cole and Jose Bosingwa given licence to maraud forwards.
Scolari was reluctant to draw comparisons, and said: "Lampard is not Brazilian. He's English. But he touched the ball very well. It was his style.
"The same with Ballack. We have a style. It's impossible to say to Deco to 'foul people.' That's not his style.
"I only give the players the freedom to play and allow them to express their style."
Midfielder Cole opened the scoring in the 12th minute by steering past David James, then Anelka scored his first goal at Stamford Bridge when he headed home.
Lampard, five days after sealing his new five-year deal, netted from the spot then tapped his Chelsea badge in celebration. Deco, on his debut, added the fourth with a long-range effort a minute from full-time.
"The perfect start. More than I expected," Scolari added. "In the last game against Portsmouth, we had many difficulties. Too many. Today we won 4-0.
"The Chelsea fans saw a beautiful game and three points. We have to keep this going. We can. Every game, every week...I don't know, but we'll try.
"Manchester United will not be scared. They are not our opponents next week. Maybe Wigan will be."
The only negative aspect of the afternoon was an ankle injury to Michael Ballack, who will be assessed by Chelsea medical staff before he is released on international duty.
Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is looking for more signings before the end of the transfer window but admitted he needed to sell Pedro Mendes to Rangers this week to balance the books.
"Where do you get good loans? I'd like to try, but it's not easy," he said.
Redknapp feels Chelsea's performance proves it is impossible for clubs outside the traditional top four to break into the Champions League places.
He said: "You're not going to break into the top four. No-one is this year.
"Spurs have got a squad and can't even win at Middlesbrough, so you start forgetting about them.
"The top four are on another level. We've improved the standard of the squad in the last three or four years but, today, you step up into a different level."
Despite his frustrations, Redknapp insists he does not want to move from Fratton Park, despite recently being linked with a return to West Ham.
He added: "I've had opportunities before and didn't take them.
"I'm happy where I am. It's not a case of the grass being greener.
"We'll do better than that, for sure. We've got an easy game next Monday against Manchester United."
