Aberdeen have defender Karim Touzani and forward Darren Mackie available after both missed last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Celtic through injury. Jamie Smith, Richie Byrne (both hamstring), Lee Mair (thigh) and Sone Aluko (ankle) are ruled out.

Hibernian captain Rob Jones returns after a two-match suspension, but midfielder Merouane Zemmama misses out after being ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in his foot. Defenders Chris Hogg (knee) and Kevin McCann (leg) and midfielder Brian Kerr (knee) are also sidelined.

Hearts have called up 16-year-old striker Scott Robinson, with Christian Nade set to miss out after suffering concussion last week. Robbie Neilson is suspended but striker Calum Elliot could return to action after recovering from a heel problem.

Inverness midfielder Russell Duncan is free from suspension after being sent off against Aberdeen at the end of last month. Caley Thistle have doubts over the fitness of Grant Munro (groin) and Barry Wilson (hamstring), while Phil McGuire (groin) is out for the rest of the season.

Kilmarnock are unable to make many changes to their squad. Allan Johnston, Martyn Corrigan and Mehdi Taouil remain on the sidelines after missing the defeat at Inverness through injury. Frazer Wright (ankle), Alan Morgan, Craig Bryson and Willie Gibson (all hernia) are unavailable after surgery.

Gretna will again be without injured midfielder Paul Murray. The former QPR player has resumed light training after sustaining a cracked rib which kept him out at Falkirk last week, but is likely to be absent for another two weeks. They have no other injury problems.

Dundee United defender Darren Dods has declared himself fit despite having his week disrupted by a foot problem, so Garry Kenneth may have to settle for a place on the bench following a two-game ban. Danny Swanson remains suspended but Jon Daly, Steven Robb and Craig Conway are pushing for a place in the side.

Falkirk have no fresh injury worries, although Kenny Milne (knee), Dean Holden (broken leg) and Brian Allison (fractured foot) all remain absent. Striker Michael Higdon continued his comeback from a knee injury by scoring for the reserves in midweek.

Celtic expect Shunsuke Nakamura to face Rangers despite missing training with a virus and also being troubled by an ankle injury. Scott Brown and Gary Caldwell are available after suspension and Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink, Andreas Hinkel, Lee Naylor and Paul Hartley have returned to training following injury.

Rangers skipper Barry Ferguson returns from a one-match ban but midfielder Kevin Thomson and defender Carlos Cuellar are suspended. Christian Dailly is set to replace Cuellar and start alongside David Weir in central defence. Goalkeeper Allan McGregor (ankle), Lee McCulloch (foot), Charlie Adam (knee), Steven Naismith (knee) and Chris Burke (ankle) are all out injured.
