Celtic are without Cha Du-ri who suffered a hamstring injury on international duty with South Korea and faces four weeks out. Captain Scott Brown is doubtful with an ongoing ankle problem. Shaun Hutchinson returns for Motherwell after missing the victory over Dunfermline with a hamstring injury. Dundee United could hand home debuts to on-loan Fulham pair Lauri Dalla Valle and Keanu Marsh-Brown. However United will be without defender Sean Dillon after he picked up a calf injury and he will join skipper Jon Daly (knee) on the sidelines. Long-term absentee Scott Severin remains on the sidelines with a broken leg.
Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic has been ruled out with a knee injury sustained on Croatia duty. Dorin Goian, Sasa Papac and Steven Naismith are also struggling with knocks following international duty but have a chance of making the trip to Tannadice, while Lee Wallace (hamstring), Kyle Bartley (hernia) and David Weir (hamstring) remain on the sidelines. Lee McCulloch (knee) and Kyle Lafferty (calf) have both trained and could be in contention and new signing Matt McKay could make his debut.

Huddersfield winger Aidan Chippendale and Wolves midfielder David Davis are in line for their SPL debuts after joining on loan. David Proctor, Josh Meekings and Kenny Gillet are closing in on returns but Owain Tudur Jones (knee), Lee Cox (pelvis), Jonny Hayes and Aaron Doran (both shoulder) are ruled out.
Hearts goalkeeper Marian Kello is doubtful due to a shoulder injury and Jamie MacDonald is on standby to replace him. Hearts remain without Kevin Kyle, Calum Elliot, Gary Glen and Janos Balogh.

Aberdeen full-back Ryan Jack is a doubt after suffering a head injury while training with the Scotland Under-21 team. Jamie Langfield is the only other player on the sidelines but he is close to returning following his brain seizure.
