SYNDEY FC have shown their commitment to the grassroots game by hosting the ESFA Premier League Grand Final before their match against Wellington Phoenix on Sunday.
Newly crowned Eastern Suburbs Football Association (ESFA) league champions Dunbar Rovers will face-off against Waverley Old Boys in the big game.
The Grand Final kicks off at Sydney Football Stadium at 2.15pm and will give keen crowd-goers the chance to see top quality grassroots football... no blaming the surface this time, lads.
The match is a curtain raiser to Sydney FC's clash with Wellington Phoenix at 5pm.
Adding a little bit of spice to the match is FourFourTwo's Mike Hemmingway (pictured) playing up front for Dunbar (if selected).
We get fed up of him coming in and boring us with his 'brilliant goal' descriptions so we urge you to join in with some jovial heckling of Mike throughout the game with the following song:
He's here,
He's there,
He hasn't got much hair,
Hemmingway! Hemmingway!
