Roberto Soldado has confirmed his commitment to Valencia following reports that he would join Tottenham.
The striker has been with Valencia since 2010 and scored 24 goals for them in 35 league appearances last season.
Despite claims that the 28-year-old, who is currently preparing for the Confederations Cup with Spain, would be making a move to the Premier League he has confirmed he is content at the Mestalla.
"It is clear for me that I want to stay here and help Valencia return to the Champions League, where we deserve to be," he told Super Deporte.
"That is despite the fact that we have not achieved our aim of doing that this season."
However, though is it clear that Soldado wants to remain with the club, it is believed they may wish to negotiate a sale to fund signings for new coach Miroslav Djukic.
