Vicente Soriano, who owns 10% of the Mestalla club, has been unimpressed since the arrival of coach Ronald Koeman and believes he, assistant Jose Mari Bakero and sporting director Miguel Angel Ruiz should be shown the door.

"If I were president of Valencia, I'd totally reverse the situation," Soriano told Valencia 97.7 radio.

"Koeman would last 10 seconds and Bakero, 11. I wouldn't even count for Miguel Angel Ruiz.

"What the name of Ruiz means to me is a waste of 50 million euros, while Koeman seems to me to be unconscious."

Soriano also said he would formally challenge Juan Soler's presidency with a plan that would lead the club "away from the lies, barbarities and smokescreens that have characterised the previous three and a half years."

Since Koeman took over from Quique Sanchez Flores at the end of October, Valencia have remained off the pace in the Primera Liga.

They sit seventh, 15 points behind pace-setters Real Madrid, and are also out of Europe after finishing bottom of Champions League Group B.

On top of that there has been unrest in the camp, with Santiago Canizares, David Albelda and Miguel Angel Angulo all having been told they are surplus to requirements.

He added: "I'd never raised the head of opposition but, given the circumstances, I understand that something must be done to change this situation."

Soriano also insisted that if he were to become president he would "recover the dignity of some players, the image of the team, and stabilise the economy that is leading the club to disaster."
