EXCLUSIVE: Just weeks after starring in 442’s Adidas F50 miCoach Speed_Cell boot tests, lively Victorian teenage striker Wade Dekker has made his debut in the Victorian Premier League.
The pacey 17-year-old recently joined Northcote City as an U-21 signing but after two games he was promoted to the senior team and was a late substitute in City’s 1-1 with Hume City last weekend.
Dekker set up the equalizer when he came on for the final 15 minutes with the teen striker wearing his new Adidas F50 boots with their miCoach Speed_Cell technology.
“Now that I’ve worn them in, they’re perfect,” he said of his new boots. “They’re very light too.”
The revolutionary miCoach Speed_Cell technology records your match stats, including your pace and distance covered. You can also compare these stats with mates who also use the boots.
“After training I really look forward to reviewing all the stats you get from the chip,” Dekker added.
The young forward was clocked at a very quick 33.4kh/h in the recent FourFourTwo tests at Knox Football Centre wearing his new Adidas F50 boots with miCoach Speed_Cell technology.
To put that into some sort of context, A-League player Scott Jamieson was tested in the same boots and chip technology and could only rate 26.2km/h.
Little wonder Dekker’s been a hit with his mates at school after appearing in this month’s issue of FourFourTwo Australia.
“My mates are very jealous. I brought the boots to school once to show them how light they are because they kept asking things like, ‘do they actually do all those things?’” And I showed them the data. A bit like show-and-tell.”
Check out Wade’s Adidas F50 boot tests along with mentor Melbourne Victory star Isaka Cernak and fellow amateur player Nick Gatwech-Chuol in the current issue of FourFourTwo Australia magazine.
And we are laying down the gauntlet. Get your Adidas F50 boots and slip in their miCoach Speed_Cell technology to try and top Wade’s result.
We’ve got prizes up for grabs so check out the current issue for all the details and prizes.
“These types of boots are definitely the future,” added Dekker.
“They give you a big advantage over players who don’t have these types of boots.”
