ROBERT Baijic was conspicuous by his absence with his name not even on the team sheet for the Reds' 1-0 loss to Queensland.

With Eugene Galekovic signing just days before from Melbourne Victory and thrust straight into the action, speculation is rife there may be a rift between Adelaide's back-up keeper and coach Aurelio Vidmar.
The official line is the glovesman reported in sick Friday morning with Julian Torrersan taking his place on the bench.
“We’re just going to wait for medical news on what it is,” said Vidmar. “We had to get Julian Torresan in and the next couple of days we’ll find out what’s going on.”
But Vidmar was quick to down play the significance of his exclusion.
“When people are not in the side they’re always going to be unhappy and that’s part of being in an elite team,” he said.
“No one is ever going to be happy when they’re dropped. Sometimes you’re in sometimes you’re out.
“On the day I’ve got to make a decision which I feel is better for the team. That’s what it’s about.”
He added: “It’s about Adelaide United Football Club. Not the individual. By the end of the week we’ll know what’s going on.”
