NORTH Queensland Fury new boy Shane Stefanutto cannot wait to get stuck into Gold Coast United and help leave their unbeaten dream in tatters.
Fury travel to Skilled Park this weekend with Socceroo Stefanutto expected to make his derby in the match.
The defender is well aware of Clive Palmer's boast that his team can go unbeaten this year. Brisbane tried and failed in round one so it is over to Fury.
''They want to go through undefeated and, hell, I'm sure everyone wants to be that first team to beat them, I certainly do,'' Stefanutto told the Townsville Bulletin. 'I'll be giving everything to make sure that happens.
''That would be the icing on the cake for this whole week or so, it would be great.''
The bookmakers do not share Stefanutto's optimism. Gold Coast are strong favourites with one major bookie at $1.48 with Fury priced at $7 for an away win. The draw is $3.75.
