CHELSEA have confirmed the signing of promising young striker Daniel Sturridge on a four-year deal after his contract expired at Manchester City.
The 19-year-old's fee has not been disclosed, but was settled by a tribunal.
Sturridge, nephew of former Derby forward Dean, made 26 appearance for City last season, scoring four times.
The England Under-20 forward will now join up with the rest of the first-team squad when they return for the start of pre-season training next week.
