The FA have announced they will not make a decision on Luis Suarez's alleged racial abuse until Tuesday at the earliest.
Suarez was accused by Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra of insulting him during Liverpool's 1-1 draw with United at Anfield on October 11.
A conclusion was expected to be reached on Friday, but the governing body has delayed the decision until after this weekend's round of Premier League fixtures.
"The Independent Regulatory Commission has confirmed there will be no decision this evening and will continue working through the weekend," an FA statement read.
"There will be no announcement on any decision before Tuesday 20 December 2011 at the earliest."
Suarez has denied the claims, and has received the backing of his manager Kenny Dalglish.
