Aussie street football star Daniel “D10” Cappellaro is off to Brazil next month, invited by Neymar Jr himself to play in the Brazilian superstar's own five-a-side tournament.
The WA-born social media phenomenon and street footballer has been selected to play in the NJR Red Bull World Finals, a five-a-side tournament in Praia Grande, Brazil.
Cappellaro will play for Neymar Jr's Global 5, a wildcard selection along with six other star street footballers from around the planet.
The video on D10’s Insta account (where he has over 285,000 followers) earned his wildcard place in Neymar’s tournament after Cappellaro demonstrated some eye-catching street skills and was picked for the all-star side alongside other street footballers from around the globe.

“It’s another example of the power of social media to raise awareness of my skills and passion for the game,” D10 told FTBL today.
“So, I’m going to Brazil and I can’t wait to go, it'll be the first time in such an amazing football country. It’s an honour to be picked by Neymar Jr and I can’t wait to show everyone at tournament what I can do.”
Cappellaro will appear at the tournament which runs between July 7-14.
Last year’s event saw the Neymar Junior Global 5 selection face a team featuring Neymar himself.
The Neymar JR tournament qualifiers are played in 48 countries across six continents with over 30,000 teams and almost 100,000 players.
