It may not sound like big news, but considering the weight the average football fan places on EA's FIFA ratings, Adrian Mierzejewski has reason to be chuffed.
Being highlighted by one of the world's largest videogames, while exposed to the enamour of over 6 million twitter followers can't do Mierzejewski's World Cup chances any harm either.

The Sydney midfielder gained global recognition - at least among teenage boys - for his sensational performances for the Sky Blues over the last fortnight with inclusion in EA Sports' FIFA's Team of the Week - an honour usually reserved for slightly more glamorous stars.
His new rating of 82 puts him on par with fellow inductees Liverpool's Emre Can, former Gunner Mathieu Debuchy and Galatasary's prolific forward Bafetimbi Gomis.
The publicity will also provide a further shot in the arm for the World Cup hopeful, who earlier this week admitted a World Cup call-up would be "perfect".ย
