Persik Kediri vs Sydney FC
Solo City, Indonesia.

The pitch is absolutely waterlogged and there is a very real chance the game could be called off. We are waiting to hear a final decision. Large puddles cover the whole field.

Kick-off has now been postponed 30 minutes to 6.30pm AET.

If it ever does kick-off, the Sydney line up is:
Bolton, Fyfe, Rudan (c), Talay, Zadkovich, Zdrilic, Corica, Hyphen, Carney, Brosque, McFlynn.

Might be a good time to nip out and grab some clown meat from McDonald's. I just had last night's leftovers. Feel free to let me know what you're having for dinner in the comments section below 'cos there's bugger all else to write about at the moment.

They've got one measly pump on the pitch, pumping its little mechanical heart out, but it's like peeing in a swimming pool. Only in reverse.

If the match does go ahead, you have to hope Sydney haven't forgotten absolutely everything Terry Butcher told them in his one training session. For once, in these mudbath conditions, the long ball game might just be a worthwhile tactic... Craig Foster's head may explode when/if this game gets underway...

Now waiting to hear if the revised kick-off time will be further delayed...

Ahh, we've got another 30 minutes delay until 7pm AET now and possibly postponed until tomorrow morning.

So are you having fun yet? It looks like our live match report could be on Adelaide instead... The Indonesians are now trying to sweep the water off with bits of wood. Oh dear. They'd be better off using them as oars and setting up a boating pond.

Okay, that's it - the match is officially postponed. The Curse of FourFourTwo claims its first victim... Thanks for bearing with us - but we will now be lining up a live report on the Adelaide game instead, kick-off at 8pm AET.

The Sydney vs Persik match has now been rescheduled for 1.30pm AET tomorrow (Thursday). Broadcast details have yet to be finalised.
