ADELAIDE United have revealed teenage attacking midfielder Teeboy Kamara has been sidelined indefinitely due to a secret medical condition.
Kamara, who became the Hyundai A-League's youngest debutant last season, has been told by specialists to avoid contact sport until he recovers from the unnamed health problem.
The 16-year-old will remain a contracted player with Adelaide as the club hope he can complete a full recovery.
Kamara made his Hyundai A-League debut in December last year when he came off the bench against Gold Coast United, becoming the youngest player ever at the age of 15 years and 212 days.
Less than a week later, Kamara - a Liberian refugee who moved to Australia when he was six - was upgraded from a youth contract to three-year senior deal, although he only played one more match for the season.
Kamara has also represented Australia at Under-17 level on five occasions.
