Here's the best and worst of Melbourne Victory's 2-1 win over Brisbane Roar.

The bald-headed beauty has been something of an enigma this season. When he gets out of his huge silk-sheeted, four-post bed on the right side in the morning, gazes lovingly at the huge artwork of himself on his wall (it's just a guess) and sets out with a purpose - he's virtually unplayable.
But when he's off his game, he can drift in and out almost anonymously. Today he offered a glimpse of the sort of brilliance we all know he can offer: while Kosta may take the plaudits for a nifty near-post jab, Dennis Bergkamp himself would have been proud of that through ball.

All the finer stuff was happening around the seagulls tonight, as Eric Bautheac took a leaf out of Troisi's book but turned it into a goal. After Matt Acton rolled the ball out to an unprepared set of Victory defenders, Brisbane pounced and Eric Bautheac showed the sort of quality that he clearly has in the locker.
Problem is, he tends to leave that quality in the locker a tad too often, especially his shooting boots.
