Here's the best and worst of Melbourne Victory's 2-1 win over Brisbane Roar.
WORST
Day of the Reserve Goalkeeper
It wasn't a great night for either side's back-up shot-stopper (who, curiously, both wear the number one jersey...do reserve goalkeepers actually think that's a decent substitute for warming the bench each week?).
First Brendan White - who's had some sensational displays since filling the huge void left by Jamie Young - failed to keep out Barbarouses at his near post. Then Acton rushes his defence with a quick rollout and gets lobbed for his efforts.
Still, nothing like chucking the reserve goalies in to add a little extra spice to an otherwise defensive encounter.
WORST
Cavernous fixturing at Telstra Dome, oh wait, Etihad...Marvel...whatever.

Let's be honest, Victory haven't had the sort of average attendances to justify Marvel Stadium in awhile. It's nice to see the ambition that goes behind both Victory and Brisbane Roar's stadium deals, and admittedly, when it pays off it makes the league look and feel fantastic.
But when it doesn't, i.e. a dead rubber against one of the lower teams in the division, Marvel can look and feel like an empty theatre. What makes matters worse is due to seemingly uncompetitive ticket pricing, the upper stands are packed and the lower almost empty!
Credit to Victory's active supporters however, they still manage to make that reverb work somehow.
