There's no denying it - there's been a fair amount of penalties out in Russia, and no shortage of own-goals either. But there's also been some absolute stonkers.

Granit Xhaka's howitzer against Serbia this morning was the latest in line. Here are our Top 10 so far...
10. AHMED MUSA V ICELAND
Get the ball and run like hell. It's classic school playground stuff from the Leicester City striker. Bonus points for beating the keeper, too.
9. DENIS CHERYSHEV V SAUDI ARABIA
A sumptuous finish with the outside of the boot. Admittedly, the free-kick to make it five wasn't bad, either.
8. NACHO V PORTUGAL
A goal worthy of winning any game. Unfortunately for Spain, it didn't.
7. ERIKSEN V AUSTRALIA
No, it wasn't pleasant viewing at the time - but this was some finish from the Danes' main man, made better by that classy back flick from Jorgensen.
6. LUKA MODRIC V ARGENTINA
Setting himself and unleashing a rasping curler into the onion bag. We've seen Modric do this so often and it never gets dull.
