TRABZONSPOR moved to the summit of the Turkish Super Lig tonight courtesy of a 2-1 win against Eskisehirspor.
Anderson fired visiting Eskisehirspor into a 23rd-minute lead but the hosts bounced back as two goals from Gokhan Unal either side of the interval secured the points that take Trabzonspor to the top of the pile, two points clear of Fenerbahce.
Eskisehirspor's day was further soured when Tayfun Turkmen received a straight red card after 78 minutes.
Seventh-placed Kayserispor kept themselves on the coat-tails of the top six with an impressive 3-0 win at Hacettepe SK, Alioum Saidou, Abduallah Durak and Mehmet Topuz on target for the hosts.
Finally, Istanbul Buyuksehir BSK posted an emphatic 5-0 win over bottom side Kocaelispor thanks to a Adriano Nascimento brace and further strikes by Marcin Kus, Efe Inanc and Serhat Gulpinar.
