Adelaide United FC have announced that 92.7 Fresh FM will be the club’s broadcast partner for season 2007/2008.
Fresh FM will broadcast every Adelaide United home and away match in the Hyundai A-League Season 2007/08, kicking off with Round One against Queensland Roar on Saturday 25 August 2007 at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
AUFC CEO Sam Ciccarello said: “We feel very positive of the audience and lifestyle synergies of our brands and very much look to co-developing a long and successful relationship. We share their enthusiasm for the notion of having football and Adelaide United presented on Fresh FM”.
Fresh FM Station Manager Mal Chia says "The partnership between Fresh FM and Adelaide United is a remarkable opportunity to make football more accessible to a larger youth audience. In particular, we are excited to play a role in the development of the highest take-up team sport with youth."
“An agreement was reached between Fresh FM and the club today, and we look forward to developing a strong relationship,” Chia said.
"Adelaide United is looking forward to “Fresh Football” and promoting the club and the Hyundai A-League to young listeners, and embracing them as fans of the number one participation sport in Australia," said a club spokesman.
