A crowd of over 61,000 is expected at the 2002 World Cup venue to see Urawa and the Hazfi Cup winners go head-to-head after playing out a 1-1 draw in Esfahan last Wednesday.

Tulio missed the first game due to a thigh injury but featured for the Reds against Kawasaki Frontale on Sunday in a bruising encounter that saw Brazilian striker Washington aggravate a facial injury picked up last month.

The former Atletico Paranaense player took a blow to the nose, which was broken prior to the second leg of the ACL semi-final. He has been wearing a protective facemask in games since although he is expected to start on Wednesday evening.

Tadaaki Hirakawa and Tatsuya Tanaka missed Monday's training session but both will be available for selection, leaving captain Nobuhisa Yamada, who missed the first leg due to an ankle injury, as the Reds' only major absentee.

While Urawa's defence of their domestic title plus travelling to and from Iran for the first leg of the ACL final has put a strain on their resources, manager Holger Osieck is confident his team has what it takes to overcome Sepahan and become the first Japanese side to win the continental trophy.

"I don't think about any other competition other than tomorrow's game," he said.

"We are fully focused on tomorrow. We want to do our best and one of our targets was and still is to win this game. We will try everything to achieve our target.

"It's a great number of games that our team has to play. That has been the case throughout the season and I think if you really want to achieve something great you have to be ready to endure a lot of hardship.

"Our players are professional, they are healthy young men and they have great potential and I'm pretty sure they will put on a great performance tomorrow."

Sepahan striker Mahmoud Karimi looks set to start on the bench after failing to fully recover from a calf injury.

Karimi scored the equaliser in the first leg, cancelling out Robson Ponte's first-half opener, but he is likely to be one of two changes to coach Luka Bonacic's starting line-up for Wednesday.

"I need to look at him but he is not ready," said Bonacic. "I will see how he is and look at the game and maybe he will play for the last 30 minutes if he can make a difference."

Karimi's absence is a major loss for Sepahan with the 29-year-old causing Urawa numerous problems with his pace and movement last week at Foolad Shahr Stadium.

However, the diminutive forward had to be replaced midway through the second half by Hossein Kazemi after picking up the injury.

Jalal Akbari is likely to be the other absentee for Sepahan, with Bonacic unhappy with the midfielder's form and he is expected to be replaced by Jaba Mujiri.

Sepahan go into the game knowing they must score to have any chance of becoming the first Iranian side to win the AFC Champions League, but goals have been hard to come by in the knockout phase of the competition for Bonacic's team.

The Iranians won their quarter-final clash with J.League side Kawasaki Frontale on a penalty shootout after two goalless draws while they also failed to find the back of the net in the second leg of their semi-final against Al Wahda from the United Arab Emirates.
