Los Che are in trouble both on and off the pitch, heavily in debt and having won just one out of their last 10 games in all competitions to fall out of both the UEFA Cup and Copa del Rey as well as slipping to eighth in La Liga.

The club's financial problems mean they may be forced to cash in on some of their prized assets, such as Spain internationals Silva and David Villa.

Silva was yesterday linked to Juventus. But the 23-year-old, who signed a seven-year contract last June, insists his efforts are focused on Valencia.

"Right now my priority and only thought is to help the team move forward, and winning against Recreativo Huelva," Silva told his club's official website.

"It's not true that I've said to any Italian media that I would like to play or win the Champions League with Juventus, or any other club.

"Valencia have always been loyal to me, not only now, and my responsibilities are with them."
