The fixture, next Wednesday night at Telstra Dome, looks set for upwards of 30,000 fans as Victory kick off their first ACL (Asian Champions League) campaign against the K-League outfit.

Sydney FC drew a crowd of just over 20,000 last year for their home tie with Urawa Red Diamonds – which featured around 1000 traveling fans - but that figure now looks like it will be easily beaten by the season two A-League champions.

Victory officials – who were in Sydney today for the club's annual season review with the FFA - said the three days prior to match day were traditionally the strongest for tickets sales to Victory matches, hence their confidence they'll break the existing record held by Sydney.

Melbourne host Gamba Osaka on April 9 in what is thought to be the toughest test in their group which also features Thailand's Chonburi FC.

Ernie Merrick's side and Adelaide drew 1-1 today in a friendly in South Australia as both sides continued preparations for their 2008 ACL campaigns.

Adelaide start their group matches with a difficult tie in South Korea against Pohang Steelers.
