Melbourne Victory are keeping a tight grip on their youth products, re-signing three youngsters.
Five-time substitute and Tassie native Josh Hope has signed a 12-month extension alongside Nicholas Sette, who earns his first professional contract.
Victory seem most excited about 16-year-old Birdan Kirdar, who they describe as "one of Victoria's best young talents", signing the midfielder on a two-year contract.
Kevin Muscat used the opportunity to remind the "young guns" that the next step in their career is now in their hands.
"Josh has done well whenever he's been called upon and I'm looking forward to watching him take that next step in his professional career," Muscat said.
"Josh, Birkan and Nick are at slightly different stages of their development but we're excited by the prospect of all three growing into really valuable members of the senior squad.
"The onus is now on those boys to put their heads down, work hard and take their chance when it comes."
