The stadium played host to a Super Bowl viewing event
New footage has emerged of the new White Hart Lane stadium as the venue played host to a Super Bowl viewing event, in a major step towards the official opening.
Tottenham's new stadium hosted around 1,000 people in the East Stand for the NFL event yesterday that saw the New England Patriots defeat Los Angeles Rams.

The stadium must hold two 'test' events before getting the green light on opening, however, the Super Bowl viewing party was not classed as one of the two test events.
Despite this, the footage reveals the event was a major step towards opening the state-of-the-art stadium and one that will be considered one of the best in Europe.
A Youtuber by the name of 'Tottenham Fan Chris Cowlin' posted a 10-minute video of the event which included footage of views from outside the ground, futuristic beer dispensers and the huge screens around the stadium.
An official opening date has yet to be confirmed, with the club hoping to stage the Crystal Palace game next month in their new home.
However, several delays since the start of the season have resulted in an extended stay at Wembley as fans wait on an official opening date announcement that is expected to come in the next couple of weeks.

If the stadium is to open for the March 17 Premier League fixture with Crystal Palace, Spurs will have another four home fixtures for the stadium to host before the end of the season.
