The Copa Libertadores final between Boca and River Plate was postponed due to torrential rain but that didn't stop these fans from turning up at La Bombonera.

The Superclasico was originally set to kick off 4am Sunday morning (AEDT) however, a waterlogged pitch meant the game took place early this morning.

The first game of the two-leg tie ended in a 2-2 draw in front of close to 50,000 Boca supporters.

However, you can't deny the passion these Boca supporters have for their team as they braved the rain to turn up the day earlier and fill the empty stadium with noise.

The game this morning was the first time the two Argentine heavyweights had met each other in the final of the Copa Libertadores, with the second leg set to be played on 25 November at 7am (AEDT).
