An Everton ballboy has been caught showing some cheek towards Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, sarcastically clapping him off the field after his side's 0-0 draw with their derby rivals.

After a disappointing result against their Merseyside rivals, Klopp was not in the mood for the ballboy's banter.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager approached the kid in what seemed to be a stern telling off reminiscent of one a school teacher would give to a student.

However, this didn't deter the ballboy whatsoever who even had the cheek to give the German manager a cheeky thumbs up as he walked away from the potentially tense situation.

Liverpool now find themselves in second place behind Manchester City, despite being 10 points clear at the top at Christmas.

It's not been a successful spell for The Reds who have only won four of their last nine matches since the new year.

Clearly under pressure to secure Liverpool's first top tier title in 29 years, it's safe to say this Everton ballboy clearly got under Klopp's skin.
