NYCFC won the toss and elected to take the shootout to the empty side of the stadium away from Orlando supporter's 'The Wall'.

Not wanting to let New York run away from them, 'The Wall' ran to the other side of the stadium, past security personnel to fill up the empty section and ensure their voices were heard.
Orlando proceeded to win the shootout 5-4 with goalkeeper Adam Grinwis producing the decisive save and providing the heroics for his side.

While Orlando generally fills their 25,500 capacity stadium for MLS games, U.S. Open Cups usually have a lower attendance resulting with sections of the stadium being taped off.
However, 'The Wall' made sure the stadium still felt at full capacity and made their presence felt when their team needed them most.
