This supporter made a fool of himself from just two yards out of goal
A pitch invader has embarrassed himself as he attempted to score in an open goal from just yards out in a Carabao Cup game between Leeds United and Salford City.
The Salford City pitch invader blew his big chance not one but TWICE to score a goal, how composed was the steward? One of the biggest upsets I’ve seen 😂😂 #football #funny #pitchinvader #salfordcityfc #skysport pic.twitter.com/C9Y9GraQrp

The supporter ran onto the pitch with a ball at this feet, past Leeds' goalkeeper Kiko Casilla in silky fashion.
This was about as good as it got for the fan, however, as he proceeded to trip over his own feet in an attempt to put the ball into the open net from just two yards out.
As he attempted to redeem himself a steward, hands still in pockets, kicked the ball away from the pitch invader as he once again tumbled over his own feet.
Seemingly deciding that his time in Moor Lane was up he proceeded to take himself off the field without a steward intervening too much.
Luckily for us, the whole ordeal was caught on camera.
The game finished 3-0 in favour of Leeds United as the Class of 92's Salford City crashed out of the cup.
