Persik Kediri team manager Iwan Boedianto believes his side will do Sydney another favour and beat Urawa Reds when the J-League royalty visits the sauna of East Java in their upcoming ACL group match.
“We are playing with Danilo when we play against Urawa next time. He is our general in midfield.
“The Japanese do not do very well in the heat. I hope it is hot for them,” he said after losing 3-0 to Sydney in the ACL tonight.
But Boedianto is hoping that his side can keep their concentration against the classy Japanese side, which he said they didn’t do tonight.
“I told my boys before the game we must keep a close eye on their number 10 [Steve Corica]. At the start of the second half we lost concentration and he punished us.
“Second problem is the goalkeeper who we lost. They looked like they are losing confidence when that happened.”
