David Williams' show stopping performance off the bench saw Wellington cement their spot in the top six with a 4-1 win over Brisbane Roar at Westpac Stadium.
BRISBANE ROAR
Jamie Young - 5
Papadopoulos's defensive header looped Jamie Young but Young was frequently quick off his line to deny Krishna on more than one occasion. The keeper ended up giving away a penalty which was scored by Roy Krishna.
Jack Hingert - 5.5
An assist for the full-back who got beyond Cacace after a pass from Mikkelsen and pulled the ball back to Henrique to level the score.
Avraam Papadopoulos - 6
Krishna targeted the Greek defender's channel as he ran across him taking advantage of his lack of pace. It was a rewarding route all day for Wellington. His marking of Steven Taylor led to an unfortunate own goal.
Jacob Pepper - 6
Lethargic in possession putting Brisbane under pressure in the first half. Things were shored up in the second half and Brisbane as a whole seemed comfortable.
Dane Ingham - 5
Naturally right-footed Ingham had trouble playing at left full-back in the first half but as the game wore on, Wellington had less and less chances.
Alex Lopez - 5
Brilliant pass in behind to McKay which set up a clear cut chance for Brisbane early in the second half.
Matt McKay - 5.5
McKay's bursts forward didn't provide enough guile in attack for Brisbane while Wellington's midfield were moving at break neck speed and McKay couldn't keep up with the pace. McKay played a more advanced role in the second half and managed to get in behind a number of times.
Thomas Kristensen - 5
The Dane had a very quiet evening which had Wellington's midfielders licking their lips. Kristensen's passing was mostly sideways and found it tough to distribute to players who can penetrate.
Tobias Mikkelsen - 5
A commendable effort but his attempted key passes didn't stick. Bautheac's absence meant Mikkelsen didn't have the creative fitness behind him.
Henrique - 6.5
A superb first time finish inside the box to level the score the Brazilian netted his 47th A-League goal with what was Brisbane's only chance of the first half.
Adam Taggart - 5
Without Bautheac, Taggart hardly had the required service to make an impact but his movements in the final third hardly created chances for himself. Taggart fluffed a guilt edged chance as he took a touch one-on-one with Kurto but tripped before he could pull the trigger.
Substitutes
Nick D'Agostino - 6
The striker couldn't have any impact on the match as Brisbane went hell for leather for goals.
Shannon Brady - 6
Brady's pace should have been introduced earlier, instead the winger couldn't offer much to a side that was already down 2-1.
Dylan Wenzel-Halls - N/A
Not enough time on the field to receive a rating.
