FC Twente coach Fred Rutten is lowering expectations as his team prepare to face Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven.
Twente finished fourth last season and have bolstered the squad with a number of summer signings, but Rutten played down talk of an upset, insisting his side needed more time to become cohesive.
He said: "It will be a interesting match, we are playing against the champions.
"They showed their quality in the match last week against NEC (PSV won 5-0).
"In comparison with PSV, we are working on fitting in new players and that takes some time.
"It will be a hot evening for FC Twente and that does not mean it will be a nice one."
The team are unbeaten but after drawing their last match, defender Robbie Wielaert believes they need to cut out their mistakes.
He added: "After the match against FC Utrecht we were disappointed.
"We have been watching tapes of the match and we learnt things which we must make use of against PSV."
The hosts are without Patrick Gerritsen, who is in rehabilitation after an operation on his leg.
PSV have made a blistering start to their title defence, with two wins, seven goals and none conceded.
But boss Ronald Koeman is all too aware of the threat posed by Saturday's opponents.
He said: "FC Twente have a good team - we know that from last year."
New signing Danny Koevermans is available after passing a medical to sign a four-year deal and Koeman is looking forward to seeing the 28-year-old attacker in action.
He added: "After the departure of Arouna Kone, Koevermans is the perfect alternative."
Jefferson Farfan is back in training after an ankle injury but is a couple of weeks away from a return while Chelsea loanee Slobodan Rajkovic has returned to London for treatment on a back injury.
