NORTH Queensland Fury capture Scott Wilson is delighted to be adding to the A-League's Scottish flavour as he prepares to meet up with some old SPL friends.
Wilson's arrival Down Under will be welcome news for Fury, still smarting from Felipe's decision to turn his back on the club.
He cannot wait to get started and is looking forward to resuming battle with some former colleagues from his days in the Scottish Premier League.
Wilson told the Daily Record: "The Australian League has really gone for it the last few years. Look at Fowler coming in.
"Even European-based Aussies like Craig Moore are returning home early to finish their careers which can only be good for the standard.
"I could see old friends like Craig (Moore), Charlie Miller, Grant Brebner, Kevin Muscat and Jonathan Gould. It's going to be really exciting. I just hope we like it - or I'll be back."
Meanwhile Fury are thought to be close to adding defender John Tambouras.to their squad for the new season.
