With the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal, Spain's superstars and the surprises of Morocco and Iran, Group B has set the World Cup alight. Here are five things we have learned after the first round.
4. Iran capable of shocking the giants
Iran showed against Spain that they have the capability of upsetting big teams. Before Spain ended their run, Iran had not lost in 22 games. They held their own defensively and had a goal disallowed. Spain needed a fortuitous goal to get them over the line.

Portugal will need a solid performance from Ronaldo and his teammates will need to step up their game. Iran's standouts included Vahid Amiri, Mehdi Taremi and Karim Ansarifad. Unfortunately, Sardar Azmoun has been a disappointment.

5. Morocco play some beautiful football
Disappointing to see Morocco knocked out of the tournament after witnessing some magnificent football by the nation. They showcased great movement and positioning, but they severely lacked in the goal scoring department.

Nordin Ambrabat was tantalising, as well as Hakim Ziyech, Mbark Boussoufa, Younes Belhanda and Amine Harit.
