Japan Forward Yuya Osako was named the best player of the match after heading home the winning goal in Japan's 2-1 victory over ten-man Colombia, FIFA said Tuesday via the World Cup's official Twitter account.
Osako nodded in substitute Keisuke Honda's corner in the 73rd minute to secure the victory for Japan, who became the first Asian team to beat a South American nation at the World Cup.
