Former Germany captain and 2014 FIFA World Cup winner Philipp Lahm and Russian supermodel and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova will take the World Cup Trophy onto the pitch ahead of this summer's final between Croatia and France, FIFA said on Thursday.
The World Cup final will be played at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium on Sunday.
Vodianova, along with former Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas, also accompanied the iconic prize at the tournament's opening ceremony on June 14.
The trophy is awarded to the winners of the FIFA World Cup while remaining the property of world football's governing body. It is made of 18 carat gold with a malachite base and depicts two human figures holding the Earth.
According to FIFA regulations, only the winners of the tournament and heads of state are allowed to touch the trophy.
