MARK Bosnich's exploits in Gosford prompted former Socceroo boss Frank Farina to speculate that an A-League return could be the former Socceroo's destiny.
"How'd he do?" Farina asked journalists at his press conference following Queensland's 1-1 draw with Wellington.
After being told of Bosnich's triumphant return to Australian club football with the Central Coast, Farina said he was happy for his former glovesman and speculated there was more to come.
"It's great for him," added Farina. "He's come from a very, very dark place, I suppose. To see him back enjoying his football, I'm just happy for him."
Farina gets a chance to see Bosnich up close when the Central Coast play Roar this weekend in their final group match in the pre-season cup.
The Roar supremo last coached Bosnich in 1999 when Farina's first took over as Socceroos boss. Against Brazil, Australia was beaten by Brazil 2-0 at ANZ stadium.
"If his destiny is to play in the A-League and he's happy with it, that's the most important thing," added Farina.
