A Football NSW initiative introduced in 2009, the Football4all Gala Day aims to give football fans with a disability or special needs an avenue to enjoy a fun day of football with family and friends at Valentine Sports Park Glenwood.

Approximately 200 players are expected to participate from various special needs and Football4All programs.

Special guests on the day are set to include a number of Central Coast Mariners, including Maltese international John Hutchinson and All Whites World Cup player Michael McGlinchey among others.

Football NSW continues to support the right of people with disabilities to participate in football as players, coaches, referees or administrators and through their 12 club-based Football4All programmes. It coincides with FFA’s recently launched Disability Football Month in June.

Newly appointed FNSW CEO Eddie Moore said the federation was committed to the ongoing growth and development of special needs football programs.

“Volunteers not only involved with Football4all, but across the country, need to be commended on their tireless devotion to implementing special needs football programs and creating awareness of these platforms to families,” he said.
