In week 15, United’s Andrew Barisic scored a late winner in a thrilling 3-2 victory for Gold Coast.

But this time, the teams are coming off contrasting runs of form and only three goals have been scored in two games between them at Skilled Park.

Gold Coast have won two of their last three while the Mariners have only been victorious once in their previous six.

Much of United’s success has come down to a tight back four and the form of shot stopper Glen Moss.

With the gates flung open by owner Clive Palmer, the club is aiming for a record crowd of close to 20,000 people.

Brisbane Roar visit Queensland rival Fury in a local derby between the league’s top and bottom teams.

Roar have extended their unbeaten streak to 16 and face the competition’s worst home team.

Fury have only won three of their nine home games in season six but are coming off a 1-0 win over Sydney FC.

Melbourne Victory welcome struggling Perth Glory to AAMI Park as they continue to try and consolidate a spot in the top six.

Glory’s only away win of season six came at AAMI Park against the Victory, and they scored a late draw with Heart at the venue as well.

But seven of the 10 road trips have ended in defeat for Ian Ferguson’s team.

Whether it’s ageing legs or chasing games, Glory have conceded 13 of their 34 goals in the final 15 minutes of encounters this season.

Victory are looking to develop a four-game unbeaten run coming off a strong 3-1 derby win last weekend.

Wellington Phoenix host Newcastle Jets in an important finals clash at Westpac Stadium.

Phoenix have won four of five meetings against the Jets at the venue, scoring 11 goals and conceding a miserly two.

But the Jets are undefeated in seven outings with favored shot stopper Matthew Nash in fine form, yet to concede this season.

The Jets have also scored a third of their goals from corners and are the only team in the league yet to concede in the first 15 minutes of any game.

Adelaide United will try and develop their winning run at home when Melbourne Heart visit.

The Reds have beaten Heart on both occasions in season six and have won seven of eight hosting encounters.

The worries have piled up for John van’t Schips team, which is winless in seven outings.
