EXCLUSIVE: The A-League has revealed the new ball design for the coming season...and we've got the exclusive pic.
The yellow, black and red ball used during ‘Version 2’ has been replaced with a more conservative look, but the ball technology is similarly futuristic.
Dubbed the Mecurial Veloci, Nike’s latest ball is identical to the one used recently in the Asian Cup.
As you can see, the A-League version has a slightly simpler colour scheme of red and white.
Nike says that the ball features nitrogen expanded foam, a compressed polyethylene layer, responsive micro-grooved casing and an explosive core.
