AFC Champions League contenders Al Karama were held to a 1-1 draw against Hottine in their Syria Cup quarter-final clash.
After a goalless first-half, Al Karama, who are in the quarter-final of the continental showpiece, opened the scoring on the hour mark through Abdal Rahman Akkari.
But Hottine levelled matters just seven minutes before the end when Arkan Mabyad was on hand to convert.
In Aleppo, Al Ittihad scored a late equaliser against Al Majd to escape a home defeat.
The visitors opened the scoring after 15 minuteS through Zaher Maidani but Mohammed Al Damen saved his side by netting a vital goal in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
In the other matches Sunday, Al Talia hammered Teshrine 4-1 while Al Wahda edged second division side Afrin 3-1.
