Sydney FC travel to face Northern Tigers this evening for the latest stop on their packed pre-season tour.

Last week's visit to Leichhardt ended with a 3-0 win over Sydney Tigers with Brosque blasting all three of his team's goals.

Aloisi is confident his fellow forward can push on to new heights this year with further international honours within reach.

"It's been a brilliant start (to pre-season) for Alex and it's great for confidence. I think that Alex can have an even better season than he's had before at Sydney.

"He is such a great player and it's time that Alex presses for a national team spot. I also think he has the ability to play even higher than the level he's playing.

"If he has a great year this year, you never know he might head off overseas and play. He's got everything that it takes I think," Aloisi told au.fourfourtwo.com.

Sydney FC and the Northern Tigers meet at Mills Park, Asquith tonight, with the match kicking off at 7:30pm.

Triallists Nick Rizzo and Uruguayan Gustavo Latronico are expected to be handed another chance to try and impress coach Vitezslav Lavicka.
