FC Twente striker Marko Arnautovic is hopeful the Dutch club will quickly come to an agreement with Inter Milan over his proposed move to the San Siro.
The 20-year-old Austria international is a target of the Italian champions after hitting 12 goals in 56 league games for Twente since 2006.
"I am waiting for the two clubs to reach an agreement," Arnautovic told Corriere dello Sport.
"I would like to play for Inter in Serie A, a tournament that fascinates me.
"Inter is the best team in Italy and when I found out they were interested in me, I was delighted.
"(Inter coach) Jose Mourinho has contacted me and Twente know that I only want to join the Nerazzurri."
Arnautovic, who is under contract at Twente until June 2012, is currently recovering from a stress fracture in his right foot that will keep him sidelined until the start of the season.
