EXCLUSIVE: Central Coast Mariners boss Graham Arnold has released promising youth league player Panny Nikas as the Socceroo assistant coach continues to reshape the club’s roster.
Nikas broke through from the youth league team to the first team late last season under then coach Lawrie McKinna.
The lively midfielder debuted for the navy and yellow on New Year's Eve against Wellington Phoenix.
But the 21-year-old midfielder is now too old for the NYL side and cannot be guaranteed a regular spot in the Central Coast first team next season.
It's understood the former Sutherland Sharks player holds no hard feelings towards the club and is currently on a break before deciding his next move.
