AUSSIE James Wesolowski has been through injury hell over the past three years but he's now ready to fire for the Foxes.
The Leicester City midfielder suffered a broken leg in a pre-season friendly against Celtic in 2005, fought his way back to fitness only to suffer another leg fracture in February 2006.
Hamstring problems hamperered his involvement last season and he also had to endure the pain of relegation to the third tier of English football.
But Wesolowski has refused to let all the disappointments get him down and he is battling hard to get back to full fitness.
He told the Leicester Mercury: “The last few seasons have been hell for me. I have been in and out and not really got a run of games.
“The hamstrings gave me a bit of a problem last season. I have a programme with Dave Rennie, the physio, and I am looking forward to getting as many games as I can.
“It was a very depressing season, last year. We have to get that out of our minds.
“It's a new season. We are in League One and we have to look to push up the table and get promoted.
“Everyone says the fans are the 12th man. They get behind us every season, now we want to give them something back.
“You have to give credit to the fans. They are sticking by us and we have to repay that faith.”
