David Beckham has been named the MLS Comeback Player of the Year after helping the LA Galaxy into this weekend's title decider against the Houston Dynamos.
Beckham missed most of last season after suffering an Achilles injury while on loan at AC Milan.
The 36-year-old returned this term to play 26 games - the most he has managed in a season since his move to the United States - while also contributing 15 assists.
Beckham, who was also named in the MLS Best XI last week, recieved 59.8% of votes cast by media, players and club officials.
