Canadian fans are set to get a glimpse of David Beckham in action on October 3 after United Soccer League club Vancouver Whitecaps announced an exhibition match against LA Galaxy.
The Major League Soccer side, who also face Toronto FC in MLS action in August, have been confirmed to line up at the BC Place Stadium.
Former England captain Beckham, who turns 32 on May 2, will link up with the Galaxy once his contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30.
Bob Lenarduzzi, the Whitecaps' director of soccer operations, told whitecapsfc.com: "We are thrilled to bring such a highly-anticipated event to Vancouver this year.
"The Galaxy boasts a star-studded roster which includes David Beckham - one of the most recognisable celebrities in the world."
