David Beckham will officially become a member of the Los Angeles Galaxy on July 13.
The Major League Soccer team announced today that the former England captain will be introduced at a presentation at The Home Depot Center.
The 32-year-old midfielder is set to join the team on a five-year contract worth up to $250million - £125million.
Beckham has been undergoing rehabilitation on his injured ankle since playing his final game for Real Madrid - a 3-1 win over Mallorca on June 17, which saw Madrid clinch the Spanish title.
The player's fitness will determine the date of his playing debut for the Galaxy, but it is expected to come when they play Barclays Premier League Chelsea in a friendly on July 21.
